To summarize it, XXXHOLiC did pretty excellently, not to mention that the 4 OADs volumes have been constantly appearing on the rankings since the OAD announcement.

The amount of XXXHOLiC comics sold up to now has increased to 9.500.000 copies =) I think it'll break the 10 million mark until the end of the series.

EDIT: According to Oricon (where it also obtained position #1), XXXHOLiC #14 sold 264.393 copies in its first week.

Also, the official website of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC OADs have posted a report from the recently-finished after-recording sessions of Tsubasa Shunraiki Part 1 with comments from cast members, check it out here (http://kc.kodansha.co.jp/tsubaholi/tsubasa/special_record.html).

Tsubasa Shunraiki comes out with Tsubasa #26, on March 17.

After her lover Fujitaka, Nadeshiko was somehow expected, huh? Once again, after several attempts, Fei Wang is my obvious bet (finally?) for the cover of volume 27.

The cover of the regular edition of Tsubasa #26 was not revealed by CLAMP-NET.COM.

Kobato. TV Anime website open! (Updated) (credit to chibiyuuto)

The official website of the Kobato. TV Anime has been launched! http://www.kobato.tv

It got its own domain and everything (I mean, not just a page in NHK's domain).

The website also announces that a special booth for Kobato. will be build for the Tokyo Anime Fair, which will happen this weekend. A life-size Kobato paper doll will be displayed in the booth!

The Kobato. anime starts in the japanese Autumn.

As you can see, clearly Tsubasa #26 didn't go as well as XXXHOLiC #14, but we do have to take into consideration that Tsubasa had 3 versions on sale (normal, deluxe and OAD), and that means the sales are divided by 3 different items. Also, these rankings are not counting the reservations made through Kodansha's website.

Tsubasa is not on this week Oricon's charts, so I can't tell in numbers how much it sold, hopefully next week it'll show up.

And just in case you are wondering, Animate stopped doing manga rankings, unfortunately =/

Update: Oricon's ranking is out and Tsubasa is there!

Tsubasa & XXXHOLiC OAD updates
Short news.

The official website of Tsubasa and XXXHOLiC OADs added a report from the after-recording sessions of the second half of Tsubasa Shunraiki with comments from the staff and cast.

According to the production diary, which was also updated, there are 2 weeks left of production for the second half of Tsubasa Shunraiki.

The OAD is scheduled for May 15.

Satsuki Igarashi's Chipmunk Cheeks book!
As previously announced here, the columns written by CLAMP's Satsuki Igarashi serialized in Newtype for the past 7 years will be compiled in a book.

Today CLAMP-NET.COM has an official announcement with a release date.

Writer: CLAMP Satsuki Igarashi
Release date: June 10, 2009
Price: 1600 yens
Kadokawa Shoten

The book's title will be the same as of the columns', Chipmunk Cheeks (しまりすのほおぶくろ), it'll contain all columns published during its run in Newtype, including the color illustrations featured in each of the 84 entries.

In addition, the book will have new essays and illustrations by CLAMP made specially for the book.

The book will be published by Kadokawa and is scheduled for June 10 costing 1600 yens.

This month's Newtype magazine has more information about it.

The Bessatsu Shonen Magazine blog has updated with January's cover image. The blurb for xxxHolic says that the series is finally reaching its climax. Bessatsu's blog also states that the magazine is adding a new series next February. Could this mean xxxHolic will wrap up in February?

CLAMP membuat manga baru berjudul Gate 7. Sebenernya udah rilis dari taun 2010 tapi aku baru liat taun ini

Genre ceritanya Shounen, spiritual gitu..
tapi gilak, baru baca oneshotnya aja udah sport jantung. wow. Baru kali ini CLAMP terang-terangan menggambar adegan kissing... lol...

love this manga at first sight...

Dan menurut saya tokoh utama cowoknya mirip Watanuki, tokoh utama cewek(?)nya mirip Yuukodan Arashi masa kecil, dan ada satu lagi yang mirip Subaru =))

itu tokoh uatama cowok, sepertinya tipe pelajar yang serius, jadi teringat pada Hideki nyampur ama Seiichiro Aoki dikit

bener, Hana itu entah cewek ato cowok saia masih belum bisa memastikan
sedangkan slah satu cowok memang mirip subaru, tapi sinisnya kaya Arashi ato Minoru
